In October 2023 I completed two of the most popular treks around Nepal, Everest Base camp and Annapurna Base camp. Each took me through some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever witnessed with my own eyes, and I was rewarded with some of the best memories.
I went with two different companies for each trek: Nepal Eco Adventures for the Annapurna trek and World Expeditions for the Base Camp trek. I took the same items for each of the different treks, which I have created a list for below. If you have read my other blogs, this packing list is very similar to my Kilimanjaro packing list, which I completed in June 2023.
Your packing list will differ, depending on what time of year you decided to trek the region. The temperature during my trekking period was warm during the day, with temperatures in the high 20 degrees C. It was quite cold at night, with temperatures below 10 degrees C. The temperature does drop below freezing at certain times of the year – so you will need to pack accordingly.
Keep in mind you can only pack a total of 15kg for most hikes.
